No one can deny Bachata’s infectious rhythms have taken the world by storm. This precious dance came from the Dominican Republic. Often singing of love, heartbreak, and the range of human experiences in-between, Bachata reminds us that while love is universal it is also uniquely experienced by us all.

Ballet Folklórico
Tonight, Ballet Folklórico Citlali invites you to travel through two vibrant lands— From the sun-drenched fields of Guerrero, where Las Amarillas flutter like golden birds, to the warm spirit of Colima, where Las Comaltecas dance with strength, grace, and rooted pride. Through rhythm, faldeo, and tradition, we honor stories carried by generations— Stories stitched into every skirt, echoed in every step, and lifted in every smile. Please welcome Ballet Folklórico Citlali as we bring to life “Alas de Oro y Corazones de Barro.”
